THE EMSDALE COCKERS

Cocker Spaniels have been bred and shown for many years by our current President, Miss Kathleen Heath, who acquired her first show and brood bitch, ROYAL AUDRITIA OF EMSDALE (see photo left) from Mrs Kay Holmes in 1971. From this line Kathleen bred some lovely dogs, including Emsdale Silver Star and Star Attraction who gained his Junior Warrant.

In 1974 she acquired Bournehouse Bemuse of Emsdale from Gordon Williams who became the foundation bitch of many Emsdale and Danett cockers in the show ring for the last thirty years, especially Emsdale Royal Jester at Danett JW Res CC, who continued to keep the Emsdale Line and whose success and character has been a great ambassador for type and temperament.
